Instructor: Lydia Grace Taylor – B.R.E. major in Music

Mrs. Lydia Grace Taylor earned her Bachelor of Religious Education major in Music at West Coast Baptist College in California.
At present, she is faithfully serving the Lord together with her husband at Grace Baptist Church, Surrey, B.C. Also, she is one of our adjunct faculty at PWBC teaching English, Music, and other related courses.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this course is to equip students with the basic skills to understand how the English language works in written form. They will learn grammatical terms and definitions; they will practice constructing simple to complex sentences; they will learn how to identify a word’s function based on their context in a sentence, and they will improve their overall understanding of the English language.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Over the course of this class, the students will:
1. Learn grammatical terms and definitions;
2. Practice constructing simple to complex sentences;
3. Learn how to identify a word’s function based on their context in a sentence;
4. Improve their overall understanding of the English language.
